This is the film Jackalope I made last year with the always brilliant Frontier Pictures. It's a skin-crawling comedy horror, about a eccentric man who is just a little to close to his pets.
It screened recently at the Film Devour festival, where it was runner up in the audience award. It's not often I get to see my work with an audience seeing it, so it was great that they bought into the darker comedy elements of it!
Performance-wise, I was happy overall with my choices, but the parts where I put the mask on had to be dubbed in post, which meant that my tone of voice didn't fully match up to the action.
I'm working with the guys again in a gangland film called Belfast Caliber 9, which is shooting now.
